It has been some time since I last walked what remains of the farm. The development continues and progress moves in from all directions like first light pushes away last night's dream. We all wake from one of these from time to time and say the same thing: "Wow, that was a great dream." There are many people now building their own memories at Brookberry Farm that bear little resemblance to mine and I suspect that new stories of what happened here (true or not) have been added to its history. I expect that long after I am gone that someone else will find themselves waking from last night's dream of the farm and smile just as I am.
